As I've posted before my old '86 Savage has
about 150,000 kms on it. The motor is getting
a bit noisy and it feels like a 250 to ride...
but it doesn't blow any smoke and it gets me to work
every day (25k each way).
I just replace the bits that fall off and regularly
change the oil (Valvoline XLD, 20W-50...). I use the heavier
grade oil because Oz has high max temperatures in
summer and warm winters...most important, ride smooth
and don't play boy-racer...Savages weren't built for that...
and will soon let you know..
